I made this because I love your recipes. I did have to make changes as I don’t tolerate onion and garlic well. I added fenugreek and fennel powder to replace the onion and garlic powders and I only used New Mexico chili powder as store bought chili powder might have the onion and garlic. I also added smoked nutritional yeast, as that is what I had on hand. Turned out great, doubled the recipe.

This has become my Go-To taco seasoning. I make it in bulk and always have a jar stashed away and ready when the mood for tacos (or more often, taco salad) hits.
I follow the recipe as written (except for the garlic powder since my partner can’t eat garlic, but I double up the onion instead). Once made, I have to admit that I sprinkle the seasoning pretty liberally when cooking… often choosing to follow my tastebuds over following any specific taco recipe.

Do yourself a favour and stash a bulk supply of this in your pantry for a rainy day. :)
